We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Account Lead to join and be responsible for managing Clarksons' national relationship with one of our key clients, overseeing all technical and commercial delivery aspects of electrical services. This role acts as the single point of contact for the client, coordinating across service delivery, projects, and support teams to maintain high performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

The position requires strong technical grounding in electrical systems, along with an understanding of related disciplines such as fire detection, access control, and security. The ideal candidate blends commercial acumen with field credibility, able to discuss technical detail confidently while managing budgets, performance metrics, and client expectations.

Working closely with the General Manager – Electrical and other senior team members, this role drives consistency across the national contract, ensuring proactive communication, efficient workflows, and measurable value for the client.

To succeed in this role you should have:

  • Proven ability to manage a team and service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and staff.
  • Solid organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the electrical services industry.
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions, with a flexible and solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Full Drivers License.
  • Minimum 10 years of working knowledge of the Electrical industry gained at operational sites.
  • Experience in a busy, fast paced environment.
  • Trade qualification in electrical field – Registered Electrician, Electrical Inspector or similar.

Advantageous to have skills in the following areas

  • Fire and security system knowledge (conventional/addressable fire, access control, CCTV).
  • Exposure to modular or prefabricated building environments.
  • Experience with BMS and controls systems.
