About the Role

We are looking for an  experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join our team.

You will have at least 6 months' experience and be confident in temperature-controlled transport, as you will be working with chilled and frozen goods.

Being the face of Big Chill out on the roads, you will also bring to our team excellent communication and customer service skills.

The role is full-time, working nights Sunday to Friday from 4pm until 2am, based at our Christchurch branch.

Key responsibilities include

  • Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products
  • Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading/unloading
  • Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries
  • Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods

About You

  • Qualified Class 5 driver with at least 6 months' experience
  • OSH Forklift Operator certified with experience operating a forklift
  • Experience working in frozen/temperature-controlled environments
  • Demonstrable organisational and time management abilities
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times
  • Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Compliance.
