About this role
Do you want to make a difference and share your passion for the Travel & Tourism industry? This exciting opportunity as a Travel and Tourism tutor gives you the chance to share what you love about the industry to help educate the future of New Zealand's tourism industry.
ITC specialises in training for the Travel, Tourism and Aviation industries having done so successfully for over 27 years. We love all things Travel and Tourism and are looking for someone with the same enthusiasm to join our City campus tutorial team.
The role is permanent, full time (35 hours per week) with a 4-day working week from Monday to Thursday offering a satisfying work life balance.
You will be delivering our Tourism & Travel Level 3 and Level 4 Certificate courses with potential to developing to deliver our Level 5 Diploma course.
Previous teaching/tutoring experience is preferred but is not mandatory in applying for this role. ITC provides internal training as well as well-developed training resources to aid you in being successful.
Tutors play a key role in helping deliver amazing learning experiences for students and achieving consistently positive academic outcomes.
About you:
You are high performing, high energy and highly organised person with a passion for the industry. Your experience can be brought to those you meet to help inspire them into an airline, travel or tourism career.
Adaptable and able to think on your feet. Flexible, professional and creative to be able to work well with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Consistent and hard working to always represent ITC in the best way possible with effective communication skills within the ITC team.
At least 3 years of industry experience is a must with at least 1 of those years working in New Zealand. Teaching or training experience is considered extremely valuable.
