Job Description

As our Receptionist / Dental Assistant, you'll be the face and voice of the practice, ensuring smooth, efficient operations and a great experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients and managing in-person and phone enquiries
  • Scheduling, confirming, and coordinating appointments
  • Processing payments and completing daily banking
  • Managing administrative and general office tasks
  • Supporting the wider team to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly
  • Assisting chairside or helping with sterilisation processes (if experienced or eager to learn)

Role hours:

  • Monday–Thursday:
    8:00am–5:00pm
  • Friday:
    8:00am–4:30pm

Qualifications

You'll bring:

  • Previous experience as a Receptionist
    (essential)
  • Dental assisting or sterilisation experience (advantageous, but not required)
  • Strong customer service skills and confidence in a front-facing role
  • A warm, positive, and team-focused attitude
  • Great attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic
  • Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Valid New Zealand work rights
    (required)
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
