Christchurch Cleaning Supplies is a family owned and operated business for over 45 years.  We service our customers in Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region and outer areas within the South Island.

We sell cleaning supplies to commercial cleaners, hospitality, schools and anyone else in-between.

About the role

We are seeking to employ a motivated, customer and sales focused person to join our busy team.

In this role, the suitable person will maintain relationships with our existing clients and source and secure new opportunities and new business.

Clients will mainly be based in Christchurch. Occasional out of town travel may be required.

You will need to be able to work effectively on your own and also be a team player.

Start date to be Monday 12th January 2026

Qualifications and skills

  • Full driver's license required
  • Lifting of weights up to 25kg is required, so the job holder must be physically fit and able to perform this duty
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Computer literate
  • Customer focused and professional presentation at all times

The job is a full time position, Monday-Friday - 8:30am-5:00pm.

Company vehicle provided.

Steel capped boots and a uniform is provided.

Skills and experience

Honest, reliable and punctual are some important qualities to have.

A proven record of sales and sound understanding of sales.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Professional presentation at all times.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Basic computer skills are required.
