Auckland Pack & Cool (APAC), based in Takanini, is a mid-sized post-harvest facility specialising in packing and cool storing kiwifruit for export and distribution by Zespri International Ltd.

We're a tight-knit, forward-thinking team with a focus on quality, safety, and teamwork – and we're expanding We're looking for Operations Supervisors to help lead our packhouse operations across both day and night shifts.

Reporting to the Senior Operations Supervisors, you'll play a key role in running production teams, ensuring safety, quality, and performance targets are met.

You'll manage people and processes across a busy packing environment, coordinate machinery and packaging resources, and maintain strong communication between production, quality, and logistics teams.

• Supervise and support production and coolstore teams to meet daily targets
• Ensure Health & Safety and food safety standards are maintained
• Monitor and maintain machinery and equipment, reporting and arranging repairs
• Manage changeovers for growers, varieties, and packaging
• Coordinate labour requirements with HR and site management
• Oversee consumables (pallets, packaging, labels, etc.) to avoid downtime
• Record production data, faults, and performance accurately
• Foster a positive, safe, and high-performing team culture

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
• Strong communication and leadership skills across diverse teams
• Mechanically minded and proactive problem solver
• Calm under pressure and confident decision-maker
• Flexible to work across shifts (day or night) during harvest
• Knowledge of FreshPack/FreshCool systems is an advantage
