Mo te tunga | About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Talent team with recruitment activities, recruitment inquiries, contractor onboarding and offboarding as well as providing exceptional candidate care and work on assigned recruitment related projects and activities as required.
Ng pumanawatanga ou | What you will bring
The successful candidate will bring previous experience providing administration support to a busy team, ideally in an HR or recruitment environment. You will also have an excellent customer focus - you'll delight in anticipating and meeting customer needs and be a superb relationship manager.
Some other key requirements of the role include:
- Discretion is your middle-name, you know what is and is not appropriate to share with others.
- Incredible organisational skills with the ability to multi-task, and work to tight and competing deadlines - you've got a 'can-do' attitude.
- Ability to work autonomously and get on with the work.
- Key recruitment administration tasks such as managing incoming customer queries, interview bookings, reference checks and other background checking tasks
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga M ori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Oranga Tamariki offer a step based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure.
