We have an exciting internal opportunity for a hands-on individual with strong coordination skills.

Reporting to the Visitor Services Manager, you will support the Visitor Services Hosts in their day-to-day activities to ensure our visitors have a memorable experience.

Role Overview

Being the Host Coordinator at MOTAT means bringing together your admin and people skills to support the Host team and keep operations running smoothly. Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • being the go-to person for solving last-minute challenges.
  • supporting morning and afternoon briefings.
  • creating the Host roster.
  • ensuring the team is supported through on-the-job training and development.
  • acting as a point of contact for the Hosts for any Tessitura issues when ICT is not onsite.

This is a varied role where you will build trust and strong relationships with the Host team, engage with our visitors, and provide support to our Visitor Services Manager. This is a temporary full-time role working Tuesday to Saturday until 19 February 2027, with some flexibility required for events and programmes.

Please note: if the team member you are covering for returns to work before 19 February 2027, the role may end earlier and you will be notified in advance.

About You

You have excellent customer service skills, planning and coordination experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. You bring a flexible, adaptable approach and are a natural problem-solver with strong people skills. You are confident using systems, including POS, CRM, and rostering tools. Experience with Tessitura and/or Deputy would be an advantage.
