We are a well-established Cabinet Making firm, based in New Lynn Auckland, looking for a full time Cabinet Maker/Joiner/Carpenter to join our team. We manufacture custom made, high end Commercial and Domestic cabinetry. Attention to Detail is a MUST.

Job Description / experience requirements:

· Cabinetmaker / Installer with a minimum of 10 years' experience manufacturing one off pieces

· Be able to use, and have a good knowledge of HPL, LPL, Veneers, MDF, Solid timber, PVC, Acrylics, glues, fixings, Hardware and different finishes.

· Be able to work autonomously

· Good oral and written skills

· Physically fit

· Reliable and punctual

· Must own one's own basic tool kit (Cordless drills and basic hand tools, Power tools &PPE will be supplied)

· Be able to create cutting lists, story rods, 1:1 drawing where necessary

· Have the ability to machine all required components

· Assemble / sand to a high standard

· Read and understand plans and drawings

· Be able to accurately conduct site measures and understand what allowances are required to ensure a high-quality installation.

· Have a good understanding of all machinery and tooling

· Work at a steady pace, keeping mistakes to a minimum.

· Conduct oneself professionally, working and communicating well with one's pairs

· Have a good understanding of all H&S requirements, working in a safe manor, and actively participate in developing company process.

· Work in a safe and tidy manner, using all the correct PPE, and report all accidents and / or near misses.

· Develop a good working relationship with all staff and customers, dress tidily, and be pleasant and well-mannered at all times.

Parking is available onsite, with a lunch bar and other shops nearby. From a travel perspective the factory is situated only 5 minutes from both the North western and South western motorways.

An average working week is between 40-50Hrs.
