**Cabinetmakers Wanted** **Work Location**: Auckland Region **Employment type**: Full time (guaranteed 40 hours/per week, roster from Monday to Saturday), Permanent role **Our pay**: $21-$22.00 per hour depending on skills and experience Craft Development Limited are a construction company based in Auckland. We are now looking for 3-5 Cabinetmakers to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company. **Tasks you may carry out**: - Studying design plans and drawings to determine materials, dimensions and installation procedures - Selecting timbers and other materials, and preparing layouts - Measuring and cutting materials to the right size and shape - Preparing and assembling the wood parts to make cabinet furniture or form sections of build-in furniture - Erecting and installing cabinets, drawers, shelves and boards - Fitting and repairing hardware, such as hinges, locks and catches - Refurbishing and repairing the existing wood furniture and fittings - Maintain and clean company power tools and equipment - Ensuring that all activities undertaken are compliant with related regulations - Prompt reporting of equipment defects and damage to management **To be successful you will need to**: - Have at least three years solid relevant experience, or - Have a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification in Cabinetmaking or equivalent qualifications/certificates, - Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions - Be physically fit and willingness to work hard - Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively - have "can-do" attitude Our goal is to inspire people more than managing them.
