These beautiful vessels are quite special, they are bespoke, hand made and custom built from the ground up right here at our premises based in Hobsonville, Auckland. Every boat we build is unique and different, every day at work is different, (No repeats) Due to growth and significant forward orders we are looking for skilled Cabinet Makers and skilled furniture makers to join our energetic Team. Over the coming years the role will include construction of 30m+ carbon composite Sports Fisher Superyachts and 30m+ Sailing Yachts, all very impressive projects This is a long term, stable employment opportunity and the chance to be part of the Superyacht industry. No Previous boatbuilding experience required as this is a cabinet making role. **If you like boats, this could be your Dream Job** Hours of work are tailored to miss the traffic,**6.30am or 7.00 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday,**with easy motorway access and lots of free parking on-site. K**ey Responsibilities in this role**: - Read and Interpret drawings - Construct custom designed cabinets to a high standard - Measure, cut, fit and trim laminate or veneer coverings as required - Carry out installation and fitment of cabinetry onboard vessel - Ensure high quality standards are met **Key Skills required for the role**: - Flexible "Can do" attitude - Practical hands on approach to finding solutions - Experience as a Cabinet Maker or Furniture Maker - Skilled use of hand tools and machinery - High standard of workmanship and excellent attention to detail - Ability to plan work to meet the deadlines specified for each job - Experience working with a wide variety of natural timbers - A very good command of the English language.
