About the Role
Our public sector client are looking for an AI Practice Lead to drive and champion the responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence within the organisation.Joining on a 6 mo. Fixed Term, this national role involves leading change management, cultural transformation, and ensuring staff and partners are confident and skilled in using AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve AI strategy and governance
  • Align with government AI frameworks and guidelines
  • Champion AI practice and embed AI into delivery processes
  • Lead awareness, education, and upskilling initiatives
  • Maintain AI risk framework and compliance
  • Build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
  • Passion for ethical AI and digital strategy
  • Experience in digital strategy and enterprise architecture
  • Proven ability to advise senior leaders
  • Understanding of technology trends and organisational solutions
  • Knowledge of tikanga Māori and Pacific cultures preferred
