About the role

We are seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join the team in Mount Wellington, Auckland. This is a full-time role hours per week. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to the customers, as well as assisting with various warehouse duties. Your role will be essential in supporting the operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers in a timely manner
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and inventory
  • Daily order picking, packing and dispatch using Warehouse Management System
  • Performing general warehouse duties such as stock handling, picking, packing and inventory management
  • Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed at all times
  • Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy and an ability to investigate and rectify inventory discrepancies

What we're looking for

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Forklift license preferred but not essential
  • Experience in a similar delivery or warehousing role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of H&S in the workplace
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Someone who enjoys a tidy, organised environment and takes pride in their job
  • You are comfortable working with computers and are able to record information accurately
