Are you an experienced people leader ready to make a real difference in the lives of whānau and communities across Aotearoa?

We're seeking a Housing Operations Manager based in Tawa to lead a passionate team delivering emergency and social housing services that truly change lives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and empowering Team Leaders and housing staff to deliver exceptional, person-centred services
  • Managing the operational performance of multiple housing sites across the region
  • Overseeing budgets, rosters, and resources to ensure sustainability and compliance
  • Building strong relationships with community partners, funders, and stakeholders
  • Driving service quality, continuous improvement, and cultural responsiveness
  • Supporting the wellbeing, growth, and professional development of your team
  • Ensuring health, safety, and risk management practices are embedded across all services

You're a natural leader with a calm, solution-focused approach and a strong understanding of the social housing or community sector. You can navigate complex situations, inspire others, and balance compassion with accountability.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing operations across multiple sites
  • Strong people leadership and performance management capabilities
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and maintain strong partnerships
  • Solid financial and resource management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Current full driver licence
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in property management or social services
