Project Coordinator – Finance Focus

Code Black is a rapidly growing consultancy, delivering high-impact professional services to some of New Zealand's largest and most complex organisations.

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator with strong financial acumen to join our team on a 6+ month contract.

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting project delivery with a strong focus on budget tracking, financial reporting, and project governance. This role would suit someone with experience in large, complex organisations, who can work across multiple stakeholders to ensure the smooth financial and administrative running of projects.

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Experience coordinating projects in a corporate, financial, or government environment
  • Strong understanding of project finance processes, including tracking budgets, preparing financial reports, and assisting with forecasting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in project and financial tools (e.g. Excel, MS Project, or financial systems)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
