The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated Production Manager to lead the Off Site Manufacturing team.  This senior role will drive contract delivery, ensuring excellence in scheduling, logistics, client delivery and quality assurance.

You will oversee the Modular Home manufacturing process in the factory – from contract acceptance through to installation – while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement with the building team. This is an extremely important role for a team leader that thrives under pressure and relishes responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

· Create, implement and drive scheduling for all home builds using RAVE Build to meet contractual timeframes and delivery dates.

· Oversee factory operations including staff timekeeping and subcontractor works.

· Manage procurement of all building materials, fixtures and fittings.

· Implement Quality Assurance digitalisation using RAVE and ARTISAN.

· Manage compliance inspections, sub-contractor producer statements and records of work.

· Liaise with Architecture Team for variations, construction detailing and client selections.

· Manage  and record continuous process improvement and  drive process excellence.

· Oversee compliance with health & safety, and regulatory standards.

· Manage the maintenance of plant and equipment.

You will need:

· years experience as a Production or Operations manager, ideally in off-site manufacturing of housing or factory manufacturing of large complex products.

· Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in motivating and managing teams.

· Ability to interpret Architectural Drawings and work in RAVE Build software.

· In depth understanding of NZ Building Codes and Residential Building experience a bonus.

· Skilled communicator with exceptional verbal and written communication, capable of managing multiple house builds in the factory.

· Exceptional communication and negotiation skills – with suppliers, customers, and internal team members.
