Jay Sidhu Dom Limited is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Store Manager to lead our team in the Northland region. This key leadership role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the store, guiding and motivating staff, and ensuring the achievement of both financial performance and operational excellence.

Key Duties

  • Oversee daily store operations to achieve sales, service, and profitability objectives.

  • Lead, train, and supervise staff to maintain high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

  • Plan and implement local marketing activities and community engagement initiatives to increase brand visibility and store performance.

  • Set and monitor stock levels and product quality in line with market trends and company policies.

  • Manage costs through effective budgeting, portion control, and labour scheduling to meet business targets.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and secure store environment.

  • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and positive outcomes.

  • Oversee cash handling, inventory management, and financial reporting with accuracy and accountability.

  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members, ensuring continuous development and cross-training opportunities.

  • Maintain effective communication across the team and with management, promoting teamwork and consistent service delivery.

  • Monitor store presentation, staff appearance, and adherence to company image and behavioural standards.

  • Contribute to store forecasting, performance reviews, and business improvement strategies.

  • When required, perform delivery duties to support store operations and ensure timely customer service during peak periods or staff shortages.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $28 to $35 per hour.

Other requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

  • Flexible availability, including weekends and late-night shifts

  • A valid driver's license is required

  • Must have own reliable transport

  • Reliable team player with strong time management and organisational skills

  • Physically capable of standing for extended periods

  • Detail-oriented, hardworking, and passionate about delivering high standards

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment

  • Able to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
