Account Manager

**About the role**
The building industry is booming in Northland and CARTERS is at the forefront of this growth supporting Group Home Builders and Independent Registered Builders to meet demands. With an established reputation in this fast growing region, this is a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to be a part of our drive for success.

Using your expertise, strong sales experience, excellent communication and people skills, you'll work alongside the Branch and Sales Managers to:

- ** Pursue customer satisfaction **by partnering and developing relationships with existing customers.
- ** Develop commercial and residential customer accounts** to grow Carter's share in the market.
- ** Develop and maintain supplier relationships** to ensure we provide complete solutions and packages for our customers.
- ** Increase sales conversions **by implementing regular sales cycles, visiting building sites and identifying growth opportunities.
- ** Use your product and market expertise **to read building plans, understand your customers' builds and anticipate what they need next.

**About you**

- ** A proven sales and relationship management track record **in a B2B environment
- ** An eye for emerging markets. **You understand the value of price and margin in building a profitable business.
- ** Highly self-motivated. **You work well autonomously and are comfortable managing call cycles.
- ** Strong commercial adaptability and agility. **You're a fast learner, thrive on challenges and can adapt quickly to market changes.
- ** Building or trade industry knowledge **is advantageous.
