Kelburn Normal School is seeking three suitable fixed-term learning assistants to support learners in their classroom environment. These positions are intended to help ākonga to understand their learning and access the curriculum.  You will be working alongside skilled teachers and a great group of tamariki.

We need someone with a high degree of empathy who is discreet, has initiative, enjoys working with tamariki, can follow directions yet be independent, and can work confidently to enable these tamariki to flourish at school.

The work hours are between 17 to 28 hours across the week, during school term only.

Please note this position is term-time funded only and is fixed until 16 December 2026 or the child leaves kura.
