About the Role

We're on the hunt for a results-driven Area Sales Rep to support and grow our customer base in the Central Region. You'll be the face of our brands in your territory, building strong relationships, promoting our range of battery products, and supporting customers with outstanding service. There will be overnight travel involved - you must be able to travel extensively with 10 to 15 days away per month.


What You'll Do

  • Manage and grow an established customer base
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Deliver stock to customers and provide backup for delivery drivers as needed
  • Implement marketing and promotional programs
  • Provide product training and merchandising support
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends
  • Ensure customer stock and displays are clean and sale-ready
  • Comply with company policies, health and safety standards, and customer requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in field or territory sales (automotive or industrial products preferred)
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Understand customer service and how to build effective long-term relationships
  • Ability to identify and target new opportunities
  • Self-motivated with good organisation and time management skills
  • The ability to plan and stick to a structured call cycle
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and strong work ethic
  • Current driver's licence (essential)
  • Class 2 licence an advantage
