Territory Sales Rep Wellington

My client is looking to add a Territory Manager to deliver sales and add value in both Grocery and DIY Hardware channels. Based in the Wellington region, the territory covers the Lower North Island.
This is a Full-time role, and you will be looking after an International Brand and its products maintaining a regular call cycle and ensuring customers have excellent service. This leading international company is the world leader in its product and industry, and you will be excited to represent their products.
We are looking to interview pre-Christmas, with a view to the successful candidate starting mid to late January 2026.
Selling, managing and growing customer relationships, negotiating deals, activating promotions, campaign events and displays will be second nature to you.
About you
- You are a sales leader with experience preferably within an FMCG or DIY environment.
- Enjoy working within a commercially focused high performing team.
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Able to quickly build effective, trusting relationships, always focused on customer service needs.
- A true team player who is well organized with great time management skills, attention to detail and a drive to succeed
Your Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Country Commercial Manager – Consumer, your responsibilities will include:
- Covering a regular call cycle of customers and delivering on area sales targets.
- Providing unbeaten service levels to your customers.
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with all key store contacts, merchandisers, and the team.
- Implementing and maintaining a high level of merchandising and in-store standards.
- You will be involved in product merchandising, product training and presentations, implementation of promotional activity, new product launches and participation in customer Trade Shows.
To secure this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- The ability to learn and understand technical products.
- Ability to build successful business relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
- Most importantly you are someone with a positive can-do attitude who is well organized with great time management skills and a drive to succeed
