YOUR ROLE

Reporting directly to the Transactional Services Team Leader, your main responsibilities will be managing the day-to-day payables functions of the Obex group businesses whilst delivering value added service to our stakeholders, through customer focus, collaboration and innovation, ensuring a consistent high level of performance and service is provided, and cash flow of the business is maximised, contributing to the business development and growth opportunities. Other day-to-day activities include:

• Processing of local and overseas creditor invoices (stock invoices and expense invoices) within expected time frames.
• Ensuring invoices are processed with correct coding and in line with approval requirements and the company's purchase authority levels.
• Managing the weekly and monthly payment runs process.
• Payments for all stock/non-stock creditors invoices are paid according to the company's creditors terms; ensuring we take advantage of settlement discounts where possible.
• Reconciliations of creditor accounts and supplier statements are completed monthly, ensuring outstanding items are resolved in a timely basis.
• Accurate ERP records of the creditor accounts (invoices, bank payments, allocations) and the accounts payable ledger.
• Supplier on boarding, master data maintenance and management.

The other essentials we are looking for:

• Experience Accounts Payable
• Experience with Accounts Payable automation
• Experience with International Suppliers and multi-entity complex businesses
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Solid experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word)
• Expereince with ERP systems (MYOB EXO, Propella, or SAP) is desirable
