As a Senior Business Analyst in our Transformation Office, you'll lead the design and delivery of business analysis across strategic initiatives. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders in banking, translating complex business needs into actionable technical and operational solutions. From shaping new products to improving existing services, your work will drive innovation and customer value. You'll champion best practice, mentor others, and ensure our solutions are robust, scalable and aligned with Kiwibank's purpose.

For this role we're looking for a Senior Business Analyst with banking experience, a knack for solving complex problems, and the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable outcomes. We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following:

  • Proven ability to lead requirements gathering and documentation
  • Confident in stakeholder engagement across senior banking roles
  • Strong understanding of banking, payments and operational systems
  • Experienced in business process improvement and service design
  • Proficient in translating business needs into technical specifications
  • Experienced in mentoring and developing other Business Analysts
  • Strong analytical, facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Confident in managing BA deliverables within complex programmes

You do not need to tick every box here to be considered. Above all, we're looking for a detail-focused Senior Business Analyst who thrives on solving complex problems, understands the banking environment, and can confidently connect business needs with technical solutions.
