The Role

As an Intermediate Hydraulic Modeller, you will play a key role in creating and refining models that inform decisions on flooding, catchment systems, and infrastructure networks. Your work will directly contribute to projects that improve resilience, protect communities, and enhance environmental outcomes.

This role offers the chance to combine technical expertise with problem-solving, supporting existing contracts while contributing to new opportunities. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values fresh ideas and diverse perspectives.

  • Develop and deliver high-quality hydraulic and flood models that provide practical value to clients

About You

You are motivated by turning complex data into decisions that protect people and the environment. With a strong technical background and a collaborative mindset, you thrive on solving real-world challenges through modelling and analysis.

We're looking for someone with:

  • 4-6 years of experience in hydraulic or flood modelling
  • Proficiency with tools such as ICM, TUFLOW, and MIKE, with adaptability across platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Interest in spatial and environmental applications, with skills in GIS, environmental analysis, or engineering an advantage
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across offices and discipline
