About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Auckland. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing heavy machinery to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance on our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on heavy construction equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other related components.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and ensure machinery is up to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to schedule and prioritize repair work.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
