What truly sets them apart is their collaborative culture and a shared drive to gain forward momentum for growth, uniquely positioning themselves for the projected upturn that will soon be self-evident.

- Perform routine servicing, including engine overhauls, brake systems, and transmission repairs
- Troubleshoot advanced control systems, wiring, and battery-powered components
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with NZ regulatory standards
- Manage parts inventory, source components, and liaise with suppliers
- Provide clear technical advice to clients and maintain detailed service records
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to team knowledge-sharing
Skills sought
- A relevant trade qualification (NZQF Level 4 or equivalent) in Automotive Engineering, Heavy Mechanics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing IC diesel forklifts or similar heavy machinery
- Strong electrical aptitude: the ability to interpret schematics and diagnose CAN-bus systems
- Expertise in hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders) and diesel engine diagnostics
- Current full driver's licence (Class 1 minimum; Class 2 or 4 advantageous)
- Certifications in OSH/WHS or forklift operation (desirable)
- A proactive mindset with meticulous attention to safety protocols
