Mo te turanga mahi | About the role

Due to an internal movement, we are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Insights team.

The Insights team is responsible for analysing our evidence base, both quantitative and qualitative, to identify useful and relevant insights for strategy and policy development, reporting, and decision-making.

The team's work is varied and includes supporting: the delivery of statutory environmental and climate reports; the production of insights from these reports; the development of visual tools; and the generation of insights from climate and environmental data. The team also ensures that a Te Ao Maori perspective is incorporated into our insight generation and products.

Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and experience

  • 5+ years' experience utilising both qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to generate insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience delivering reports, written communications, presentations or other products.
  • Significant experience using data and evidence to generate accessible and actionable insights which tell a story.
  • Collaborative, curious, and hard-working, you thrive in agile and multidisciplinary environments.
  • Prior experience delivering insights climate or environmental science reporting would be advantageous.

Whanuitanga Utu a-Tau | Salary range

Salary range for this role is $110,501 to $134,128 pa. Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
