In this key role, you'll work alongside cross-functional teams to contribute to the design, development, and testing of new Flesh and Blood products, ensuring that every feature aligns with our vision and the player experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Playtesting & Feedback: Participate in structured playtest sessions using prototype products, providing constructive feedback on gameplay mechanics, balance, and player experience.
- Game Design & Balance: Contribute to the creation of game design concepts, ensuring that game features are both innovative and balanced. Exercise strong judgment in evaluating game balance and propose potential solutions for improvement.
- Visual & Conceptual Tools: Develop visual aids, frameworks, and documentation that support the communication of game development concepts and design principles.
- Collaboration: Regularly collaborate with the Design, Rules, and OP teams to ensure a cohesive product development process. Provide valuable insights and feedback from a player-centric perspective.
- Player Strategy Analysis: Analyze and document dominant strategies within the competitive landscape, identifying key tactics employed by top-tier players.
- Player Behavior Insight: Demonstrate an understanding of the behaviors and tendencies of elite player groups, adapting game features to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all product details and internal discussions until public release. Refrain from using confidential information for personal or financial gain.
Required Experience, Skills, and Attributes:
- Competitive Experience: A top-tier player in Flesh and Blood, with multiple top 8 finishes at the Pro Tour and World Championship levels.
- In-Depth TCG Knowledge: Deep understanding of the mechanics, strategies, and competitive ecosystems of Flesh and Blood and other various TCGs. Proven success in the highest competitive tiers of these games.
- Organized Play Insight: Comprehensive knowledge of how Organized Play (OP) impacts the broader TCG experience, including its role in fan engagement and product sales.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to internal teams.
- Judgment & Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in problem-solving scenarios, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- Initiative & Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Mental Fortitude & Growth: A drive to win, coupled with the maturity to reflect on losses, learn from them, and share those learnings with colleagues to foster growth and improvement.
- Confidentiality: Must demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Nice to Have:
- Professional Experience: 0-3 years of experience in game development, with a focus on TCGs or related areas in competitive game design.
- Digital Literacy:Strong digital literacy is preferred, with familiarity in tools such as Slack, , and other project management platforms.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in multiple languages is preferred, particularly in regions where TCGs are actively played and developed.
Restrictions:
- Game Developers are not eligible to participate in any professional-level Organized Play (OP) while employed at the company and for a period of one year following the termination of their employment agreement.
- These roles are full time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.
