Looking for your next step in a well-supported dairy business? This 174ha effective, System 3 farm in the Bay of Plenty might just be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Milking 490 cows through a 32-aside herringbone shed with all the bells and whistles; in-shed feeding, cup removers, Buvonix Quad sense (mastitis detection) and drafting gate. The farm consistently produces 200,000 KgMS and is part of a larger family-owned operation comprising of four dairy farms. The owners are deeply committed to sustainability, animal welfare and creating a positive work environment with a Farm Manager to join them on their journey.

About the role:
You'll be leading a capable team of two full-time staff and responsible for the day-to-day operations of the farm. Success in this role will come from strong pasture and animal management, sound decision-making, with the ability to motivate and guide others. This is a great opportunity for someone who has established leadership skills to take ownership of the farming operation on Hi View Farm.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 3 years of experience in a dairy management role
  • Demonstrates excellent animal health and pasture management skills
  • Leads with integrity, confidence, and clear communication
  • Thrives on achieving operational and production results
  • Is hard-working, honest, and enjoys working as part of a team
