Swimgym is proud to deliver the Community Swim programme supported by the Find Your Field of Dreams Foundation. Together, we've helped tamariki across South and East Auckland achieve over 4 million Swim & Survive lessons on our journey toward 5,000,000 splashes by 2028. Our drivers are absolutely central to that mission.

We're looking for a top-shelf, people-centred bus driver who believes in community, safety, and supporting young people to thrive. If you want your work to matter, and you enjoy operating during school hours only, this one's for you.

What you'll do
  • Safely transport school groups between schools and our South/East Auckland pools
  • Represent Swimgym and FYFOD with professionalism, warmth, and care
  • Build trusted relationships with schools, teachers, and students
  • Contribute to a programme delivering life-saving skills and confidence to thousands of young people
  • Be a valued member of a small, tight-knit driving team supporting the smooth running of our daily operations

This role is more than just driving — it's being part of something that genuinely changes lives.

What we're looking for
  • A current NZ Full Driver Licence with Class 2 + P endorsement

    (or the ability to work with us to obtain these)
  • The right to work in New Zealand
  • Availability during weekday school hours
  • Clean traffic and criminal history checks, and the medical fitness required to safely carry out the role
  • A calm, patient, and community-focused approach with young people and schools
