Our client is an established, end-to-end construction group that does everything from structural steel through to housing development and design. They operate in both residential and commercial spheres. Due to doing mostly everything in-house, they have the capacity to offer a cost-effective and efficient solution for their clients across the country.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working with existing customers and checking in to see about the quality of the product, service, and design - working on building existing relationships
  • Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including event networking, cold calling, marketing campaigns, and proactive search
  • Identify, research and nurture new business opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads, while also generating positive interactions and new business
  • Working closely with the existing sales team as well as upper management on reports
  • Record accurate information on prospects and your interaction within the CRM

A bit about you:

  • Previous experience in a similar sales role (2+ years)
  • Full NZ Driver's Licence
  • NZ Residency/Citizenship
  • Based in Christchurch and willing to travel where and when required to meet with existing customers and potential leads
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Out-going and positive personality
  • Self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running from day one
