Mō tenei tūranga mahi / About this role

We are seeking a Mana Tangata Nursing Team Lead to provide leadership to our kaimahi delivering hauora services from our hub in Wairau.

Responsible for:

  • Providing inspirational leadership to a dedicated team of nurses.
  • Ensuring whānau receive safe, effective, and holistic care.
  • Coordinating referrals, maintain clinical oversight, and lead multidisciplinary hui.
  • Strengthening service integration and improve outcomes for whānau by working closely with iwi, Te Whatu Ora, and other relevant partners.

  • To be effective in this role our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Experience in leading high performing teams and influencing Hauora outcomes.
  • Experience working with culturally based communities and diverse stakeholders.
  • Current registration as a health professional (e.g., RN or clinician)
  • Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and team development skills
  • Commitment to cultural safety, continuous learning, and wellbeing
