Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Compliance Coordinator based in Auckland to support three sites. The primary responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory health and safety standards, performing safety inspections and audits, and implementing risk management strategies. This role involves analysing safety data, conducting compliance training programs, and developing policies to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborating with various teams to ensure best practices and adherence to safety guidelines is an essential aspect of the position.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Regulatory Compliance and Auditing
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate risks, processes, and safety data
- Proficient in Communication and Training skills to effectively convey safety protocols and educate teams
- Experience in implementing safety policies and procedures in a workplace environment
- Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a compliance or safety coordination role is highly advantageous
