The Role
This is a hands-on sales leadership role where your personality, drive, and love of design matter more than fancy jargon. As our Showroom Sales Manager, you'll own the Grey Lynn showroom experience — creating spaces that inspire, delivering next-level service, and making sure sales targets aren't just met, but smashed.
You'll often be the only one running the floor — so if you're the kind of person who likes autonomy, thrives on responsibility, and doesn't need someone peering over your shoulder, this is your stage.
Alongside leading sales, you'll also have a say in how we tell our story online — shaping campaigns, content, and showroom promotions that feel fresh and on brand.
What You'll Do
Sales & Showroom (Your Main Game)
- Build genuine connections with customers and close sales without the pushy scripts.
- Drive results — personal and showroom targets are yours to own.
- Keep the showroom sharp: styling, merchandising, and presentation that inspires.
- Handle quotes, orders, and CRM updates with precision.
- Work with the Head of Sales and Product Manager on campaigns and seasonal launches.
Marketing (Your Side Hustle)
- Take ownership of our social media channels — planning, posting, and keeping the content fresh and engaging.
- Build and roll out EDM campaigns (from concept through to send) that connect with our customer base and drive sales.
- Make sure in-store promotions line up with what's happening online so the customer experience feels seamless.
- Bring a sharp, creative eye for visuals, styling, and copy that nail the Bauhaus aesthetic.
- Track results, learn fast, and adjust — no fluff, just outcomes.
About You
You're creative, organised, and people-savvy — equally happy chatting with customers on the showroom floor as you are tweaking a Canva design or scheduling an EDM. You're ambitious, sharp, and know how to take ownership. You don't wait for instructions — you make things happen.
- 2+ years of showroom sales experience (ideally in furniture, interiors, or premium retail).
- A proven sales record — you know how to close with confidence and ease.
- Independent operator: proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable making calls on your own.
- Naturally well-presented with a strong sense of style — the kind of person who brings presence to a showroom without trying too hard.
- Eye for design and detail — you notice what others miss.
- Strong communicator — face-to-face, email, or Insta post, you know how to connect.
- Comfortable with digital tools (CRM, social media, Canva, Google Suite, Klaviyo).
