Since 2020, we've crafted and curated pieces that are both beautiful and functional—designed to inspire a more intentional way of living. We're seeking an experienced Showroom 2IC to help lead our Grey Lynn showroom and deliver a welcoming, on-brand showroom experience. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in driving the success of our premium furniture and homewares retail business.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the floor: support day-to-day showroom operations, open/close procedures, daily briefs, and smooth handovers.
- Mentor the team: model best-practice sales behaviours and provide ongoing coaching.
- Own the customer experience: deliver thoughtful design consultations that inspire and guide purchases.
- Run great retail processes: deliver end-to-end sales administration and after-sales support with efficiency.
- Keep stock in order: maintain accurate showroom inventory, manage transfers and replenishment, support weekly cycle counts.
- Create beautiful in-store visual experiences: uphold our visual standards so the showroom feels cohesive and on-brand at all times.
- Coordinate deliveries: liaise with warehousing and logistics to book collections and deliveries, keeping customers informed.
- Handle enquiries: respond promptly and professionally across phone, email and walk-ins.
- Drive results: support team KPI's.
What we're looking for
- Experienced: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a retail assistant manager or leadership role, preferably in the furniture or homewares industry
- People-first: friendly, confident communicator and reliable teammate.
- Detail orientated: strong admin and interpersonal skills and comfortable juggling priorities in a busy showroom.
- Proactive: motivated to meet goals, follow through, and improve processes.
- Calm & composed: applies clear judgment, takes initiative, and leads by example.
- Tech savvy: confident with POS (Shopify POS preferred) and inventory systems (Cin7 advantageous); comfortable with Google Workspace
- Design-minded: a genuine interest in furniture, homewares and interiors; an eye for materiality and colour.
- Practical: comfortable assisting with light furniture handling and maintaining a tidy, safe showroom.

Hours
- Full-time, Sunday to Thursday roster
