Water Services Project Engineer

Are you ready to take on the challenge of working in a busy Capital Projects Team?

We have an exciting opportunity for two Project Engineers who bring a positive attitude and understand the importance of delivering critical 3 Waters projects for our local community.

Your broad experience in civil infrastructure engineering design, construction, and project management will be a real asset in this role. With many projects already in delivery and new ones on the horizon, now is the perfect time to join our team

The opportunity

  • Manage and execute delivery of 3 waters capital projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop an understanding of the network capacity with respect to current and future development.
  • Lead communication and engagement with key stakeholder including the community.
  • Provide solutions that add value and are effective for Council and the community.

To set you up for success, you'll have

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Contract and construction mana
  • Understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and Iwi expectations and experience project matters relating.
  • Current driver's licence.
