We're working with a well-established commercial roofing company with a strong reputation across Canterbury. They've got plenty of large projects lined up and are now on the lookout for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to jump on board and help keep things running smoothly.


About the Role

You'll be involved from tender through to completion – measuring, pricing, and managing project costs to make sure everything stacks up. You'll work closely with a small, friendly team that values clear communication and a practical approach to getting the job done right.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Preparing tenders, estimates, and progress claims
  • Cost tracking, variations, and forecasting
  • Working with project managers, suppliers, and clients
  • Using Bluebeam for take-offs and measurements
  • Helping deliver high-quality commercial roofing projects across the region

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years' Quantity Surveying experience (commercial experience preferred)
  • Experience with Bluebeam would be beneficial but not essential
  • Great with numbers and detail-oriented
  • Strong communicator who enjoys being part of a team
  • A good sense of humour and a practical mindset
