Part-Time Home Support & Housekeeping Assistant: Wellington

Looking for meaningful, flexible work hours?

We're hiring one part-time team member to help support our growing client base across Wellington City (with the occasional shift in the Hutt). This is a recurring, relationship-based role, not one-off cleans, so reliability, warmth, and professionalism really matter.

About Us

We're a small Wellington-based business that supports clients in their home, tackling home-based jobs like cleaning, laundry, cooking, errands, landscaping, deep cleaning, decluttering, and reorganizing. The Role

You'll support weekly and fortnightly clients with tasks such as:

  • Laundry, folding, and bedding changes
  • General cleaning and weekly upkeep
  • Deep cleaning on rotation
  • Tidying, organising and home reset tasks
  • Maintaining a calm, welcoming environment
  • Respectfully working in private homes

You'll work independently after training, but with ongoing support and communication.

Hours & Location

  • Approx. 9:00am – 3:00pm, Monday–Friday
  • Flexible scheduling to suit life outside of work, like managing school drop-offs/pick-ups
  • Part-time consistent weekly hours
  • Wellington City, with one optional client in the Hutt

This role is ideal for parents, caregivers, students, or anyone wanting stable daytime work without evenings or weekends.

Who We're Looking For

Someone who is:

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Reliable, punctual, and communicates clearly
  • Comfortable working solo
  • Holds a valid NZ driver's licence and can travel to clients (not necessary)

Experience in cleaning, hospitality, caregiving, or home care is a bonus, but attitude, care, and consistency are most important.
