  • Food Preparation Assistant – Ice Cream Production - Frankton Factory
  • Pastry Chef Assistant – Pastry Production Kitchen - Queenstown CBD

The Roles

You'll join a passionate, skilled team dedicated to creating exceptional handmade products for our Patagonia cafés and wholesale customers.

As a Food Preparation Assistant, you'll:

  • Help prepare and produce ice cream and sorbet from scratch
  • Weigh, mix, and process ingredients following recipes
  • Assist with packaging, labelling, and quality control
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and food-safe

As a Pastry Chef Assistant, you'll:

  • Support the Pastry Chef in pastry, chocolate, and dessert production
  • Accurately measure and prepare ingredients
  • Maintain consistency and presentation standards
  • Contribute to a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment

About You

We're looking for people who:

  • Can follow instructions and maintain consistency
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Previous kitchen or food-production experience is required.
