Are you passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences and leading a talented team? Jack's Restaurant, located in the Clubhouse at the stunning Jack's Point Village development, is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team

As the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in the daily operation of our restaurant and bar, supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in maintaining exceptional service standards, smooth operations, and a positive team culture. You'll help lead by example, ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional and memorable experience every time they visit.

About the role:

  • Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily restaurant and bar operations.
  • Supervise, motivate, and assist in training front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Maintaining high standards of product quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
  • Assisting in managing inventory and ordering to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Monitoring and uphold compliance with food safety and alcohol licensing requirements.
  • Help analyse sales and service performance, contributing to strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Working collaboratively with the kitchen and event teams to deliver cohesive guest experiences and special functions.
  • Step into the role of acting manager when the Food & Beverage Manager is unavailable.

About you:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage management within the hospitality sector, with high-class hotel experience being advantageous.
  • Proven leadership skills with a commitment to staff development and team success.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety and alcohol licensing regulations.
  • Financial awareness, with some experience assisting in budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, dynamic environment.
  • This role requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
