About the business and the role:

EFS Solar is an New Zealand owned electrical company as well as being a highly reputable renewable energy and solar retailer/installer servicing and operating in key markets of QLD, NSW, ACT, NT & NEW ZEALAND since 2014. We are looking for Experienced Sales Professionals who are able to promote, sell and close on our range of products and services.

As a business, we conduct the whole process from wholesale and distribution to sales and installation, therefore the ability to manage the full sales funnel in-house gives us the advantage of a high volume of referral business and warm inbound leads for you to service.

Our head office is based in Te Rapa with offices all over Australia.

Job Opportunity:

Due to an oversupply of warm to hot leads, we are currently seeking "Experienced Individuals" with great sales experience in the solar industry to focus on servicing these leads as well as building on new business development. You will be supplied with all the tools of the trade required to complete the sale and you will work directly with the sales manager to expand new business opportunities with residential clients.

As a Solar Specialist with us, you will be required to:

  • Sit-in-home assessments to understand the customer & provide them with a system designed for their needs.
  • Follow up with customers who have yet to accept our proposed solution.
  • Utilize your client network to obtain referrals and take advantage of the generous rewards offered through our referral program.Requirements for this Role:

  • Must have sales experience with a proven track record of meeting KPI's, and targets

  • A strong desire to learn and build a career.
  • A hunter mentality and the commitment necessary to maintain a high-level income.
  • Ambitious and motivated to succeed.
  • A passion and hunger for sales with the drive and discipline to succeed and earn a six-figure income.
  • The ability to cross-sell on other opportunities, products, and services.

  • We schedule two-three qualified appointments per day, including Saturdays ( with the option to work every second Saturday, and up to four appointments per day during peak periods.
  • We provide comprehensive training on the sales process and relevant product knowledge to ensure our team is well-equipped to serve our customers.
  • Our in-house installation team ensures a fast turnaround on commissions following a sale.

What we require from you:

  • Prior face-to-face selling experience is a requirement for all our Sales Consultants. It would be highly advantageous if applicants also have previous experience in solar.
  • Applicants must possess a current driver's license and have access to a dependable vehicle.
  • Laptop and Mobile Phone for in-home appointments.
  • An open-minded attitude towards new sales techniques and a willingness to learn from our team members.
  • We seek individuals with strong negotiation skills and a keen desire to close deals.
