We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at the Air New Zealand Lounge in Dunedin Airport. In this role, you'll support food preparation and presentation, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and deliver exceptional customer service. You'll be part of a high-performing team that brings the best of Kiwi hospitality to life. This is a Permanent Part Time position.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating.
• Deliver warm, friendly customer service and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Maintain clean and tidy dining and kitchen areas, including public spaces.
• Wash dishes and handle waste, linen, and stock rotation duties.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and follow company policies and procedures.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Experience in a similar hospitality or catering role.
• Team player with a flexible, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Physically fit, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Able to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Holds or is willing to obtain a NZQA Food Handling Certificate and Police Clearance.
