He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We're looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our team at the Southern Cross site in Christchurch. This is a permanent part-time role, working 25 hours per week on a Fixed Roster : Tuesday to Saturday 3pm to 8pm.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for;

• Ensuring excellent customer service and patient satisfaction through the provision of meals and beverages to our patients.
• You will be taking exceptional care of people by enhancing the overall dining experience while performing patient meal service.
• This includes menu selection, tray assembly and delivery, general kitchen cleaning and temperature monitoring.
• Experience in health care environment desirable but not required.

• You will have strong verbal communication, reading and writing abilities, be able to interact with patients and staff congenially.
• Ideally you will already have some experience working in a similar role and have great customer service skills.

• Most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for food, customer service and quality.
