He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

As a Catering Assistant at Air NZ Wellington Airport, you'll help deliver daily food service to customers in a busy and rewarding environment. You'll assist with food preparation, maintain clean and welcoming dining areas, and provide friendly, professional customer service that reflects Compass Group's high standards. This is a Casual Position where hours of work are "as & when" required basis upon business needs.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating.
• Deliver warm, friendly customer service and respond to requests promptly.
• Maintain clean and tidy kitchen, dining, and public areas.
• Wash dishes and sanitise kitchen equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Experience in a similar catering or hospitality role.
• Flexible, reliable, and physically fit with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• A positive attitude and commitment to customer service.
• NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) preferred.
