We are looking for a high performing lawyer to join our Tax team that is ranked as Tier 1 by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific and considered by clients to be the best private equity tax team in New Zealand. The team has leading expertise in the taxation of infrastructure projects, crypto assets and M&A structuring.

We have a new opportunity for a tax lawyer with over five years' experience and who brings a commercial approach, strong academics and excellent technical skills. You'll be part of a team that provides a complete range of advice on all types of direct and indirect taxation. Working primarily with leading tax partners, Andrew Ryan and Simon Akozu, you will advise a range of clients including large corporates, financial institutions, insurers, investment funds and private individuals.

There is a good balance of transactional and opinion work, providing variety in the role. You will thrive on problem solving, bring a 'can do' attitude together with a friendly and professional style.
