Mō tēnei mahi | About this job
We are seeking a Kaiako to deliver our Certificate in Rongoā Level 4 programme, which involves but is not limited to: developing lesson plans, presenting material to tauira (students), responding to tauira learning needs, and evaluating tauira progress.

Mōu | About you
You will be a confident Kaiako that brings energy and creativity that shines through in your delivery. You will have sound knowledge and experience in the origins, cultural principles, practices and their application for rongoā Māori, indigenous plant species (including identification, classification, health & safety, kaitiakitanga), and implement methodologies that support the diverse learning styles of students. You will have experience using traditional Māori healing methods, or other relevant work-related to Rongoā Māori
Ideally, you will have:
- Diploma in Rongoā Māori, Hauora Māori or equivalent qualification
- NZ Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching (Level 5) or equivalent, or be willing to complete during the first year of employment
- Experience teaching adults
- Full and current NZ Driver's License (Class 1)
