About you:

  • Solid hospitality experience
  • A current LCQ and DM's Cert
  • Experience in restaurant administration & banking
  • Flexible with the ability to make decisions on the fly and lead a team
  • A can-do positive attitude with a genuine passion for people and hospitality
  • Experience in similar high-volume bar/bistros, dining/restaurants
  • Be available to work a flexible roster including week days and weekends
  • Must be available to work over Christmas and New Year

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Ensure that all customer needs are met and that customer satisfaction is maintained
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all goals and objectives are met
  • Manage inventory and supplies, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare reports and provide updates to senior management as needed
  • Admin support duties including; daily bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable through Xero

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is an asset
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
