Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Officer at Petcare Nutrition Ltd, located in Auckland. The Quality Control Officer will oversee and ensure compliance with established quality standards and practices in the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include inspecting and testing raw materials and finished products, ensuring adherence to quality assurance protocols, maintaining records of quality control activities, and collaborating with the production team to address and resolve quality-related issues. The role also involves identifying areas for process improvement to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in quality control techniques, product testing, and quality assurance processes
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for food and pet products
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to evaluate quality control metrics
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including record-keeping
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to work effectively within a team
- Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or areas of improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field
- Previous experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or related roles is a plus
