About the role

Kaiaponi is seeking a full-time Pre Pack Operator to join our team in sunny Gisborne. As a Pre Pack Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating pre pack machinery and leading our pre pack team, ensuring the efficient and accurate packing of our high-quality produce.

What you'll be doing

  • Ensuring pre packed produce meets quality and production targets and standards
  • Operate pre-packing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
  • Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene protocols
  • Collaborate with the wider team to continuously improve processes and efficiency

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a line operator or in a similar post harvest role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure while leading from the front
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
