Mount Pack & Cool Ltd (Mpac) are seeking experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic OSH forklift drivers to join our friendly team.

Mpac is a post-harvest company, which packs and cool stores kiwifruit for export and distribution by ZESPRI International Ltd. We provide Post harvest services to kiwifruit growers across the wider Bay of Plenty Region. Our friendly and professional approach has attracted a loyal group of growers and staff. We currently operate from two facilities, in Tauriko and in Mt Maunganui.

The duties during main pack, will include dayshift or nightshift forklift driving, this will include loading and unloading of bins from trucks and moving them into our precooler. There will also be forklift driving in our cool stores, where pallets of kiwifruit are kept in a racking system before export. Export will include loading trucks and containers with palletised fruit.

We are looking for committed staff who possess the following skills/attributes:

  • Minimum 1 +years' experience
  • Confident English language skills
  • Good communication skills
  • The flexibility to work varied hours.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player
  • Safety conscious

Previous kiwifruit experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
